Ich bin deutscher Singer-Songwriter und lebe in Wien. Meine Songs schreibe und spiele ich allein mit Akustikgitarre und Stimme. Ich halte sie gern einfach und versuche trotzdem, die vielen Schattierungen und die Vielfalt des Lebens einzufangen.
Musik ist für mich die Art, die Mehrdeutigkeit des Lebens auszudrücken. Darüber zu reden fällt schwer, deshalb schreibe ich Lieder. In der Corona-Zeit sind viele neue Songs entstanden, die ich seitdem bei Events, in Pubs, bei Open Mics und auf der Straße in Wien spiele. Mein erstes Release seit über zehn Jahren war die Single „Coastal Town“. Wenn es lauter sein darf, stehe ich mit meiner Indierockband Bunski auf der Bühne. Dort findest du weitere Musik von mir.
I am a German singer-songwriter based in Vienna. I write and perform my songs with just an acoustic guitar and my voice. I like to keep my songs simple, but still try to reflect the many shades and diversity of life.
To me, music is the way to express the ambiguity of life. That is why it is so hard to talk about, and why I write songs. During the pandemic I wrote many new songs, which I have played at events, in pubs, at open mics and on the streets of Vienna ever since. My first release in over a decade was the single “Coastal Town”. When it can be louder, I play with my indie rock band Bunski. You can find more of my music there.

Für kleinere Locations (bis ca. 70 Personen) brauche ich nur eine Steckdose, alles Weitere bringe ich selbst mit. Bei größeren Locations wird eine PA-Anlage benötigt.
Ich spiele vor allem Akustikgitarre mit Tonabnehmer und singe, nutze aber auch ein Stompbox-Pedal für Percussion. Bühnenplan und weitere Technik-Details gibt es auf Anfrage.
For smaller venues (up to about 70 people) I only need a power outlet and bring everything else myself. Larger venues need a PA system.
I mainly play acoustic guitar with a pickup and sing, but I also use a stompbox pedal for percussion. Stage plan and further tech details are available on request.

Für kleinere Locations (bis ca. 70 Personen) genügt eine Steckdose, alles Weitere bringt Simon selbst mit. Bei größeren Locations wird eine PA-Anlage benötigt.
For smaller venues (up to about 70 people) a power outlet is enough, and Simon brings everything else himself. Larger venues need a PA system.
Wie lange dauert ein Auftritt?How long is a performance?
Von kurzen Sets ab 45 Minuten bis zu einem ganzen Abend ist alles möglich: In Pubs kann Simon problemlos einen kompletten Abend füllen und hat schon fast drei Stunden gespielt (mit kurzer Pause). Länge und Pausen werden vorab abgesprochen.
From short sets of 45 minutes up to a full evening: in pubs Simon can easily fill a whole night and has played almost three hours (with a short break). Length and breaks are agreed in advance.
